EHS Technician

Assist with emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and response procedures.

Perform environmental inspections and assist with waste management and spill prevention programs.

Support compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Track corrective actions and follow up to ensure timely completion.

Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical inventories.

Assist with audits, regulatory inspections, and internal EHS assessments.

Prepare safety reports, metrics, and other documentation for management.

Promote employee awareness of safe work practices and environmental responsibilities.

E. QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in EHS, occupational safety, environmental science, or a related field preferred.

1–3 years of experience in an EHS, safety, manufacturing, construction, laboratory, or industrial environment preferred.

Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and general workplace safety practices.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to conduct inspections and work effectively with employees at all levels.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data/document management.

Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
