Job Description
The Role
The Facilities, EHS & Infrastructure Manager will provide leadership and coordination across Facilities, EHS, Security and Infrastructure activities, ensuring CRFS has the environment, systems and support structures required to support a growing technology and manufacturing business.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will work through a combination of leadership, project management and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the business remains safe, secure, compliant and equipped for future growth.
A key priority during the first phase of the role will be leading the preparation and operational integration of CRFS' new 24,000 sq ft facility, establishing the infrastructure, processes and governance required to support continued expansion.
The role is accountable for developing strategy, driving improvements and ensuring successful delivery of key initiatives. While specialist team members will continue to own and lead a number of operational and compliance activities, this role will also take direct ownership of significant projects and programmes, particularly those relating to site expansion, facilities development, security and infrastructure. Success in the role will require a balance of leadership, coordination and hands-on delivery, with the ability to move comfortably between strategic planning and practical execution.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
Provide leadership, coaching and development for the EHS and Maintenance team.
Create a culture of ownership, professionalism, accountability and continuous improvement.
Work with team members to establish clear priorities, responsibilities and development plans.

Establish effective regular processes including team meetings, planning reviews and site walkarounds.
Facilities Management & Infrastructure
Provide oversight and strategic direction for facilities management activities across the expanding CRFS estate, ensuring current operations remain effective while developing capabilities to support future growth.
Ensure robust maintenance planning, asset management and contractor oversight processes are in place, supporting team members who own and deliver day-to-day activities.
Monitor building compliance, statutory inspections and facilities-related risk.
Support capital investment and infrastructure improvement projects across the site.
Building Expansion & Project Delivery
Lead the fit-out, setup and operational integration of CRFS's new 24,000 sq ft facility.
Coordinate internal stakeholders and external contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure facilities, safety, security and operational requirements are considered throughout planning and implementation.
Develop the processes, standards and operating model required to successfully incorporate the new facility into the wider business.
Support future infrastructure and estate development initiatives as the business continues to grow.

Act as the sites designated lead for Environmental, Health & Safety, providing oversight, governance and support to ensure responsibilities are effectively discharged across the organisation.
Maintain compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
Lead review and approval processes for risk assessments, safe systems of work and EHS procedures.
Support the delivery of EHS training, awareness programmes and continuous improvement activities.
Compliance & Management Systems
Provide leadership for the continued development of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 aligned management systems, supporting team members who lead individual workstreams and ensuring activities remain aligned to business objectives.
Coach and develop internal capability in compliance and management systems.
Ensure compliance records, audits and management reviews are maintained effectively.
Support the integration of EHS and compliance processes within the wider business management system.
Drive continuous improvement activities arising from audits, inspections and operational reviews.
Security & Facilities Security Clearance (FSC)
Lead the business preparation for Facilities Security Clearance (FSC), establishing the governance, controls and practical measures required for successful accreditation.
Help define and implement the physical security standards required to support current and future business needs.
Coordinate with relevant external stakeholders and internal functions to ensure readiness for future FSC requirements.
Establish sustainable processes that support long-term security compliance and governance.
Act as a key contributor in shaping the organisation's security maturity as CRFS continues to grow.
Practical Support
While primarily focused on leadership, planning and project delivery, be willing to provide practical support on maintenance and infrastructure activities when required, acting as an additional resource during larger projects or complex tasks.
Maintain sufficient technical understanding of site systems and facilities to effectively support teams and guide decision-making.
