Role Overview
The EHS Program Manager supports facilities and local safety liaisons with localized environmental, health, and safety guidelines, programs, and training.
The role supports the Senior Corporate EHS Manager with operational EHS management in India.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hazard assessment training and review the work of the real estate and facilities team at all sites.
- Analyze EHS laws, regulations, benchmarking studies, industry best practices, and related data.
- Conduct corporate office risk assessments and develop remediation and mitigation plans.
- Ensure incidents are reported and investigated, corrective and preventive actions are completed, and trends are reported.
- Assist with fall hazard, electrical safe work, hazardous energy control, machine safeguarding, confined space, hot work, and fire protection programs.
- Manage employee EHS communications, including newsletters and topic-based communications.
- Help implement the global EHS management system in India and conduct audits at assigned sites.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate site safety committee meetings and action closure.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree required.
- At least 12 years of experience in EHS and EHS auditing required.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health standards required.
