EHS Manager

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering , or a related field.

7+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing , with strong hands-on environmental compliance experience.

Strong knowledge of U.S. environmental regulations and practical experience with environmental permitting, air emissions, waste, wastewater/stormwater, and regulatory reporting .

Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and manufacturing safety programs .

Strong communication, problem-solving, project-management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Experience in automotive or automotive component manufacturing .

Environmental compliance experience with painting/coating, die casting, injection molding, and/or welding operations .

Strong experience with air permitting and VOC/HAP emissions compliance .

Experience supporting brownfield facility development, plant expansion, equipment installation, or new production launches .

Familiarity with Alabama environmental regulations and ADEM permitting/compliance requirements .

CHMM, CSP, CIH, PE, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 experience is a plus.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on EHS professional with strong environmental expertise , particularly in air permitting and manufacturing emissions compliance . The candidate should be able to independently identify environmental and safety requirements associated with new equipment, processes, materials, and production changes and work effectively with manufacturing and engineering teams to implement practical compliance solutions.
