Role Overview

EHS Manager role based at a manufacturing site in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Lead and continuously improve environmental compliance, process safety, and occupational health and safety activities.

Work in alignment with global EHS standards, the Zero Harm culture, global subject matter experts, and the EHS Center of Excellence.

The role requires a confident, influential, independent, and hands-on EHS leader.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the site's EHS Management System and ensure compliance with company standards and applicable legal requirements.
  • Act as the primary site leader for environmental, health, safety, and process safety matters.
  • Maintain readiness for regulatory inspections and audits.
  • Lead PHA, risk assessments, hazard identification, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
  • Support MOC, PSSR, safe work practices, and critical safety programs.
  • Oversee permit to work, LOTO, contractor safety, confined space, work at height, and chemical handling controls.
  • Monitor environmental reporting, waste management, emissions, and pollution prevention.
  • Deliver EHS training and communicate performance reports, risks, and action plans.

Experience and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
  • 5–10 years of EHS experience in chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, or other high-hazard manufacturing environments.
  • Fluent English is required; Arabic language skills are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS, process safety, risk management, and environmental compliance.
  • Experience with safety culture, EHS programs, risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
  • OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent internationally recognized EHS certification.
  • Experience with PHA, MOC, and PSM is preferred.
