Role Purpose

  • The Education Counsellor provides information, advice, support and processing of applications for international students seeking placement in education institutions in UAE.
  • Responsible for supporting achievement of office/country sales performance targets.
  • Provide support and referral for students with issues other than placement.

Detailed Description

  • Counsel prospective students to identify appropriate study options.
  • Schedule and conduct phone discussions and office meetings.
  • Assist students in determining appropriate shortlist of applications.
  • Support student through admissions, visa and pre departure processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students and families.
  • Deliver consistently outstanding service.
  • Identify opportunities to generate leads.
  • Use CRM system to support counselling process.
  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain regular contact with key accounts.
  • Process and submit applications to institutions.
  • Build effective relationships with education institution staff.

Required Experience

  • Educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience in sales driven environment with focus on targets.
  • Knowledge of education institutions, admission processes, immigration requirements.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills.
  • Customer focussed.
  • Highly effective relationship building skills.
  • Effective team worker.
  • Ability to proactively identify, analyze and solve problems.
  • Sound judgement and ability to make decisions with integrity.
  • Strong IT skills – Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems.
