About the Role
IDP Education Ltd is seeking an Accountant in Riyadh to handle bookkeeping, trial balance, financial statement preparation, VAT, collections, audit, and compliance. Candidates need an accounting degree, ERP experience, and at least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
- Passing the GL entries and maintain a Trial Balance and prepare the FS using ERP system in order to prepare the audit file
- Awareness of Tax law in KSA in order prepare the quarterly and yearly submissions
- Prepare tax schedules and apply basic knowledge of tax rules to assist in preparation of tax reports and returns
- Use judgment and professional accuracy skills in determining appropriate procedures for preparation of accounting records, research of transactions and reporting
- Reconcile the daily collection receipts
- Compile and prepare entries to General Ledger accounts
- Document accounting transactions, using procedures defined by internal & external stakeholders
- External Audit preparation, discussion, support to finance manager/ Auditor
- Apply the financial policies and procedures of the company. Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management
- Perform additional projects as assigned
Requirements
- Educated to Accounting degree or equivalent AUC or 'English Section'
- ERP, Financial application Experience is a must
- Excellent Excel Skill is a must
- Experience in accounting practices and principles
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in book keeping and preparation of financial statement, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing and taxation

Description
