Role Overview

Training and Capability Building

• Create a capability-building system for the Scarborough plant with digitalized training activities and tools for all plant functions and pillars.
• Establish skill assessment, trainer identification, subject-matter-expert, and certification processes.
• Develop and document training programs that support self-directed learning and knowledge transfer.
• Develop and implement plant orientation, temporary-agency staff training, and training for engineering projects.
• Make capability improvement trackable daily by managers and colleagues and adjust activities as needed.
• Lead the plant education and training pillar and support other pillars in reducing skill-related losses.

Compliance and Leadership Support

• Maintain and document all plant compliance training, including HSE, Quality, and HR requirements, with timely tracking.
• Support the Front Line Leadership Ignite program and align capability-building approaches with other education and training leaders and plant leaders.
