Role Overview

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems for safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Support system integrity, cathodic protection, and compliance with operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and instrumentation systems.
  • Maintain and monitor cathodic protection systems for pipeline and asset integrity.
  • Execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities for E&I systems.
  • Inspect, test, calibrate, and maintain transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and protection systems.
  • Maintain motors, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, and power distribution systems.
  • Support plant and pipeline operations and participate in shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance.
  • Ensure HSE, permit-to-work, and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare reports, technical documentation, and work orders.
  • Coordinate with operations teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Use SAP PM for maintenance planning, execution, and reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
  • 5–8 years of experience in electrical equipment and instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Proven expertise in cathodic protection systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems in plant and pipeline environments.
  • Experience with cathodic protection system design, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • SAP PM experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective communication, reporting, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and reliability.
