Role Overview
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems for safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Support system integrity, cathodic protection, and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and instrumentation systems.
- Maintain and monitor cathodic protection systems for pipeline and asset integrity.
- Execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities for E&I systems.
- Inspect, test, calibrate, and maintain transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and protection systems.
- Maintain motors, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, and power distribution systems.
- Support plant and pipeline operations and participate in shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance.
- Ensure HSE, permit-to-work, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare reports, technical documentation, and work orders.
- Coordinate with operations teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Use SAP PM for maintenance planning, execution, and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in electrical equipment and instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Proven expertise in cathodic protection systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems in plant and pipeline environments.
- Experience with cathodic protection system design, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- SAP PM experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective communication, reporting, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and reliability.
