Role Overview
The E-commerce Data and Catalog Specialist will manage and optimize product data across e-commerce platforms.
The role focuses on accurate, consistent catalogs that support sales and improve customer experience.
Contract and Payout
- The position is contract-based and pays $40 to $50 per hour.
Location
- The role is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and cleanse product data to ensure catalog accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and structure product information for searchability and presentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve data quality.
- Implement and maintain data governance policies and monitor compliance with standards.
- Monitor and report catalog performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and catalog management systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis and cleansing techniques.
- Familiarity with GTIN, UPC, or ISBN product data standards.
- Ability to interpret and apply data governance policies.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and identifying inconsistencies.
