- Oversee day to day hotel operations and ensure smooth coordination between departments
- Act as Manager on Duty, responding to guest concerns and operational challenges
- Lead by example to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain service standards
- Support Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other operational teams
- Maintain visible presence in guest areas ensuring service excellence
- Welcome and assist VIP guests, handling special requests with discretion
- Resolve guest complaints effectively and ensure satisfactory outcomes
- Monitor hotel standards, cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, health & safety regulations
- Coordinate and respond to emergency situations ensuring safety
- Prepare operational reports, handovers, and communicate key information between shifts
- Support training, coaching, and development of operational team members
Requirements
- Previous experience as Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or similar leadership role in a luxury hotel
- Proven experience in a 5 star hotel
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving abilities with calm approach under pressure
- Experience using hotel property management systems such as Opera
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays

The Role
- Seeking a confident, service driven, proactive Duty Manager to ensure seamless hotel operations and memorable guest experiences.
- As a leader on the floor, you will be the main point of contact for guests and team members during your shift.
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee day to day hotel operations and ensure smooth coordination between all departments.
- Act as the Manager on Duty, responding promptly and professionally to guest concerns, feedback, and operational challenges.
- Lead by example to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain the highest service standards.
- Support Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other operational teams as required.
- Maintain a strong and visible presence in guest areas, ensuring service excellence at all times.
- Welcome and assist VIP guests, handling special requests with professionalism and discretion.
- Resolve guest complaints effectively and ensure satisfactory outcomes.
- Monitor hotel standards, cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, health & safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate and respond to emergency situations, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of guests and team members.
- Prepare operational reports, handovers, and communicate key information between shifts.
- Support the training, coaching, and development of operational team members.
About You
- Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or similar leadership role within a luxury hotel environment.
- Proven experience working in a 5 star hotel.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences.
- Excellent problem solving abilities with a calm and professional approach under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience using hotel property management systems such as Opera or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, guest relations, and luxury hospitality standards.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and operational requirements.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire teams while fostering a positive working environment.
