Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day hotel operations and ensure smooth coordination between all departments
- Act as Manager on Duty, responding promptly and professionally to guest concerns, feedback, and operational challenges
- Lead by example to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain highest service standards
- Support Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other operational teams as required
- Maintain strong and visible presence in guest areas, ensuring service excellence at all times
- Welcome and assist VIP guests, handling special requests with professionalism and discretion
- Resolve guest complaints effectively and ensure satisfactory outcomes
- Monitor hotel standards, cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, health & safety regulations, and operational procedures
- Coordinate and respond to emergency situations, ensuring safety and wellbeing of guests and team members
- Prepare operational reports, handovers, and communicate key information between shifts
- Support training, coaching, and development of operational team members
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or similar leadership role within a luxury hotel environment
- Proven experience working in a 5 star hotel
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about delivering exceptional guest service
- Excellent problem solving abilities with a calm and professional approach under pressure
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience using hotel property management systems such as Opera or similar platforms
- Knowledge of hotel operations, guest relations, and luxury hospitality standards
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and operational requirements
- Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire teams

The Role
- At The Ned Doha, exceptional hospitality is at the heart of everything we do. We are currently looking for a confident, service driven, and proactive Duty Manager to join our team and play a key role in ensuring seamless hotel operations and memorable guest experiences.
- As a leader on the floor, you will be the main point of contact for guests and team members during your shift, ensuring that every aspect of the hotel runs smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of luxury service.

About You
- Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or similar leadership role within a luxury hotel environment.
- Proven experience working in a 5 star hotel.
