Role Overview
Serves as the property's strategic financial business leader.
Leads financial and accounting activities and supports delivery of desired financial results.
Implements property-wide strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or a related major plus two years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in Finance and Accounting or a related major with no experience required.
Strategic Planning and Controls
- Analyze financial data, market trends, sales, expenses, wages, and forecasts.
- Create annual budgets and identify opportunities to improve profit and return on investment.
- Maintain accounting and operational controls to safeguard assets and manage business risks.
- Develop and implement business plans aligned with property and brand strategy.
Accounting Team Leadership
- Lead, influence, and encourage accounting team members and communicate strategic goals clearly.
- Assign accountability with appropriate authority and hold staff accountable for performance.
