Role Overview
Hands-on Drone Assembly Engineer role supporting assembly, integration, testing, and quality control of UAV and drone platforms.
The role requires practical experience with mechanical and electronic components, hardware assembly, and basic electronics.
The position is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and integrate mechanical, electrical, and electronic components for UAV and drone platforms.
- Perform wiring, cable routing, connector installation, and hardware integration accurately.
- Carry out soldering on PCBs, flight controllers, power systems, connectors, and related electronic hardware.
- Use hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and workshop equipment safely.
- Conduct hardware inspections, functional checks, pre-flight inspections, and quality checks.
- Identify hardware or connectivity issues and support troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly, inspections, testing, and technical work completed.
- Follow engineering, manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures during assembly and testing.
- Collaborate with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in assembly processes, quality, efficiency, and technical practices.
