Role Overview
Seeking a reliable and responsible Company Driver to deliver products to client locations on schedule.
The role involves safe vehicle operation, secure goods handling, delivery documentation, and professional client interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products to clients according to the delivery schedule.
- Handle and transport products securely to prevent damage.
- Verify deliveries and obtain client acknowledgment.
- Maintain delivery logs and submit reports to the logistics team.
- Communicate delivery updates with dispatchers, clients, and internal departments.
- Conduct vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
- Report vehicle issues, delays, and incidents promptly to the supervisor.
- Comply with traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with clients.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven delivery or company driver experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
