Job Information

Job category: Rooms & Guest Services Operations.

Schedule: Full Time.

Position type: Non-Management.

The role is based at the property in Doha, Qatar.

Position Summary

Transport guests to and from assigned destinations using a property vehicle.

Document all trips before departure and at the conclusion of each trip.

Park, inspect, refuel, and report maintenance needs for property vehicles.

Document vehicle incidents and provide reports to a manager or supervisor.

Guest Service and Workplace Duties

  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager.
  • Complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Follow company policies and procedures and protect confidential information and company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and provide genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally and exchange information with employees using electronic devices.
  • Maintain positive working relationships and comply with quality assurance expectations.

Qualifications

  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • No related work experience is required.
  • No supervisory experience is required.

Physical Requirements

Read and visually verify information in various formats and inspect tools, equipment, and machines for defects.

Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.

Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds without assistance and more than 75 pounds with assistance.

Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and use stairs or service ramps.

Reach overhead and below the knees and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Use manual dexterity and gross motor skills, including frequent bilateral and fine motor movements.
