Position Summary

Transport hotel guests to and from assigned destinations using a hotel vehicle.

The role is full time, non-management, and not remote.

The position is part of Rooms and Guest Services Operations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Document all trips before and after each journey.
  • Park hotel vehicles in designated locations when not in use.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and cleanliness.
  • Check tire pressure and fluid levels and refuel as necessary.
  • Report vehicle maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.
  • Document vehicle incidents and provide reports to a manager or supervisor.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions.
  • Follow company safety policies, procedures, training, and certification requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance.
  • Respect confidential information and protect company assets.
  • Support colleagues respectfully and contribute to shared team objectives.
  • Welcome guests, communicate professionally, meet quality standards, and perform other related duties.

Qualifications

  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
  • Required safety training and certifications must be completed.
  • The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance.
  • The role requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, and navigating uneven surfaces, stairs, and service ramps.

Workplace and Physical Demands

  • The role requires operating a hotel vehicle and responding to guest transportation needs at assigned destinations.
  • The position involves extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking and frequent manual and gross motor activity.
  • The role requires visual inspection of vehicles, tools, equipment, and machinery.
