About the Role
GCG Engineering Services is hiring a HIAB Driver to operate truck-mounted cranes for loading, unloading, and transporting materials in the Oil & Gas, Water, Power, and Industrial sectors.

Responsibilities
- Operate HIAB equipped trucks safely for transportation, loading, unloading, and lifting of materials
- Perform pre trip, post trip, and daily vehicle inspections
- Secure loads properly before transportation
- Follow approved lifting plans, risk assessments, and supervisor instructions
- Conduct routine checks on crane components and safety devices
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure documentation is up to date
- Comply with UAE traffic laws and company driving policies
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and site teams for timely delivery
- Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and equipment malfunctions promptly
Requirements
- Valid UAE Heavy Driving License
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience operating HIAB trucks / heavy vehicles
- Good knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and safe lifting practices
- Ability to read and understand lifting instructions and delivery notes
- Physically fit and able to work in yard, site, and remote project environments

Job Description
- Operate HIAB equipped trucks safely for transportation, loading, unloading, and lifting of materials.
- Perform pre trip, post trip, and daily vehicle inspections.
- Operate truck mounted crane to lift, position, and place materials per approved procedures.
- Secure loads properly before transportation.
- Follow approved lifting plans, risk assessments, and instructions.
- Conduct routine checks on crane components, hydraulic systems, and safety devices.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Comply with UAE traffic laws and company driving policies.
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and site teams.
- Assist with loading and unloading activities.
- Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure lifting operations are within crane's rated capacity.
Qualifications
- Valid UAE Heavy Driving License.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating HIAB trucks / heavy vehicles.
- Good knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and safe lifting practices.
- Ability to read and understand lifting instructions, delivery notes, and site requirements.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
- Physically fit and able to work in yard, site, and remote project environments.
