Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Drilling Rig Foreman for the Unconventional Resources Drilling Department.
The role supervises land drilling and workover rigs performing programmed activities on deep or critical wells approximately 18,000 to 23,000 feet deep.
The position ensures safe and efficient operations in accordance with company requirements, Saudi Aramco safety standards, procedures, and contractual obligations.
Operational Supervision
- Supervise daily drilling and workover rig operations.
- Monitor and supervise all operations performed on the well site.
- Ensure drilling and workover activities follow approved programs and procedures safely and efficiently.
- Work with Drilling and Workover Engineers to ensure modern and approved drilling practices are followed.
- Review and approve contractor daily tour reports.
Contractor and Resource Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and the drilling or workover contractor.
- Administer and monitor contractor compliance with contractual requirements.
