Drillers Assistant

Assists the drill crew in performing Standard Penetration Test (SPT) and geotechnical drilling operations.

Supports the driller by setting up equipment, handling drilling tools and samples, maintaining a safe work environment, and helping collect soil and rock data for engineering and construction projects.

Assist with setup, operation and breakdown of drilling equipment.

Handles drill rods, augers, and other drilling tools.

Collect, label, and store soil samples during drilling operations.

Support SPT procedures under the direction of the driller and Project Manager.

Perform routine cleaning of equipment and maintenance.

Load and unload tools, supplies, and materials from drill rigs and trucks.

Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Maintain accurate logs

Travel to project sites to perform drilling assignmenet
