Position Summary
Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is seeking a Draftsman or CAD Engineer for its Design and Engineering department.
The role prepares fabrication, shop, nesting, and manufacturing documentation to support production and project execution.
The position reports to the Design Engineer or Technical Director and is based at the Umbergaon plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings.
- Generate CNC bending and laser cutting nesting drawings.
- Prepare general arrangement and shop drawings.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain revision control and document management.
- Coordinate with production on manufacturing feasibility and drawing clarifications.
- Support BOM preparation and update drawings based on production feedback.
- Release drawings on time to support production schedules.
Qualification and Experience
- ITI, Diploma, B.E., or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Draftsmanship.
- Three to eight years of relevant experience in fabrication drafting, CAD engineering, or manufacturing drawing preparation.
