- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to translate concepts into precise drawings that reflect design intent and functionality
- Review and revise designs based on feedback from project stakeholders, ensuring all modifications are accurately documented
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess existing conditions that inform drafting work
- Implement best practices in drafting techniques, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements
- Prepare presentations and visual aids that effectively communicate design ideas to clients and team members
- Assist in coordinating with other disciplines to ensure integrated and cohesive project outcomes
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in drafting technology to enhance efficiency and output quality
- Support project management by providing timely updates on drafting progress and anticipated challenges
