A leading construction contractor seeks a skilled Draftsman for a fixed-term contract from July 2026 to September 2026 in the UAE. The role involves preparing detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation for luxury developments.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise detailed construction drawings, shop drawings, and as built drawings in accordance with project requirements
- Produce architectural, structural, and MEP drawings based on engineering designs and specifications
- Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability
- Update drawings to reflect design changes, site instructions, and approved revisions
- Review drawings for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project standards and applicable codes
- Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, and document control procedures
- Support the preparation of technical submittals and construction documentation
- Coordinate with site engineers to resolve drawing discrepancies and technical queries
- Ensure drawings are issued in line with project schedules and construction milestones
- Prepare as built documentation for project handover
- Maintain organized electronic and hard copy drawing records in accordance with company procedures
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years of drafting experience within the construction industry
- Previous experience working on luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, or mixed use developments is highly preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
- Experience with Revit and BIM software is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and drafting standards
- Familiarity with architectural, structural, and MEP coordination
- Ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings accurately
- Experience working with contractors on large scale construction projects is an advantage
- Fluent English is required; Arabic is an advantage
