Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D & 3D drawings for roads, highways, drainage, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, and other infrastructure networks
- Develop detailed cross sections, profiles, grading, alignment, and earthworks using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Convert conceptual designs and engineers’ sketches into accurate working drawings
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and ensure proper document control of issued drawings
- Coordinate with engineers and site teams to incorporate design changes, RFIs, and as built updates
- Prepare shop drawings, construction drawings, and as built drawings as per project requirements
- Ensure compliance with authorities’ standards (e.g., ADM, RTA, Ashghal, etc.) and project specifications
- Support design team with quantity take offs and BOQ preparation when required
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness of drawings before submission
- Assist in clash detection, design reviews, and implementation of design modifications
- Provide technical support to site teams regarding interpretation of drawings
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering or Drafting
- Minimum 4–7 years’ experience as Civil Draftsman in roads and infrastructure projects (preferably in UAE/GCC)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of road design elements, utility networks, profiles, cross sections, grading, and alignments
- Knowledge of local design standards, authorities’ requirements, and drafting practices
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Qualifications & Skills

- Experience in roads, Infra and stormwater, sewerage, and dry utilities drafting.
- Knowledge of other design software (Navisworks, InfraWorks, Revit, or MicroStation) is an advantage.
- Experience in preparing GIS compatible drawings.
