About the Role
A commercial design and build company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Draftsman for commercial fit-out and construction projects.
The role converts design intent into technically accurate, buildable drawings from early concept through construction issue.
The role supports live projects and resolves design details for site delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings from concept through construction issue and as-built documentation.
- Build and maintain coordinated Revit models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Prepare CAD, working, joinery, and shop drawings.
- Resolve design details and flag clashes or discrepancies before site work.
- Coordinate with designers, project managers, site teams, and subcontractors.
- Manage drawing registers, revisions, and version control across multiple projects.
- Support quantity take-offs, material schedules, and specification documentation.
- Attend site visits to verify existing conditions and resolve site queries.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable Dubai authority regulations and project specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Draftsman in a design and build or commercial fit-out environment.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of construction detailing, materials, junctions, and build methods.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Ability to manage multiple live projects and tight deadlines accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical documentation approach.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience working in the UAE is essential.
