About the Job
IDOM is seeking a Document Controller and Quality Control Specialist for an international building project team in KSA.
The role supports the project team by controlling, reviewing, distributing, tracking, and archiving documentation in line with project procedures and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent technical qualification in engineering, architecture, construction management, business administration, documentation management, or a related discipline.
- Five to eight years of relevant experience in document control, quality control, or project administration within building, infrastructure, or engineering projects.
- Knowledge of document coding, numbering, revision control, transmittals, registers, distribution matrices, workflows, and archiving procedures.
- Experience with Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, SharePoint, ProjectWise, or equivalent document-management systems.
- Ability to support deliverable checks, submission compliance, review-status monitoring, comment tracking, and project-record maintenance.
- Experience maintaining registers, submission logs, comment trackers, quality checklists, non-conformity logs, action trackers, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination platforms is advantageous.
- English proficiency at C1 level or higher is required; Arabic knowledge is highly valued.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, reliability, discretion, communication, and ability to meet demanding deadlines are required.
