Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a well organized document control system for all project documents
- Log, categorize, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents to relevant stakeholders
- Manage electronic document management system (EDMS) such as Aconex, Procore, or internal DMS
- Maintain updated document registers for drawings, transmittals, and revisions
- Receive, review, and distribute shop drawings, as built drawings, and design revisions
- Track submittals and ensure timely responses from consultants/clients
- Record and track all project correspondence between contractor, consultant, and client
- Ensure document control procedures comply with company QA/QC requirements and ISO 9001 standards
- Archive superseded and obsolete documents systematically for traceability
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and head office for document flow
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration
- Minimum 3 5 years experience as a Document Controller in a construction company, preferably on high rise building projects in Dubai or GCC
- Strong knowledge of document control systems (e.g., Aconex, Primavera Contract Management, or similar)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Purpose
- To manage, control, and maintain all project related documents, drawings, and correspondences in both electronic and hard copy formats.
- Ensure the proper flow of documents between the site, head office, consultants, subcontractors, and clients, in compliance with company procedures and ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a well organized document control system for all project documents (drawings, technical submittals, RFI, material approvals, correspondence, reports, etc.).
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing documents are properly logged, categorized, and distributed to the relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the electronic document management system (EDMS) such as Aconex, Procore, or internal DMS.
- Maintain updated document registers for drawings, transmittals, and revisions.
- Receive, review, and distribute shop drawings, as built drawings, and design revisions to concerned engineers.
- Track submittals and ensure timely responses from consultants/clients.
- Maintain drawing control logs and update revision status.
- Record and track all project correspondence between contractor, consultant, and client.
- Ensure proper filing of all letters, memos, and emails related to project activities.
- Prepare and issue document transmittals and submission reports.
- Ensure document control procedures comply with company QA/QC requirements and ISO 9001 standards.
- Archive superseded and obsolete documents systematically for traceability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3–5 years experience as a Document Controller in a construction company, preferably on high rise building projects in Dubai or GCC.
- Strong knowledge of document control systems (e.g., Aconex, Primavera Contract Management, or similar).
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Pay
- AED 4,000.00 AED 4,500.00 per month
