Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a project team.
The role manages project documentation and ensures records are accurate, current, and compliant with company and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the project document control system and document registers.
- Register, track, distribute, archive, number, and revise project documents and correspondence.
- Ensure only the latest approved documents are available for project use.
- Maintain records of RFIs, submittals, transmittals, technical queries, and correspondence.
- Prepare weekly and monthly document control reports.
- Monitor document review and approval workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and quality standards.
- Manage documents using EDMS platforms such as Aconex, Procore, SharePoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or Oracle Primavera Unifier.
- Maintain electronic and hardcopy document archives.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, information management, engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of Document Control experience in construction, infrastructure, engineering, or project-based companies.
- Previous experience on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Good understanding of project documentation, contractual correspondence, and document control procedures.
- Certification in Document Control or Records Management is an advantage.
- Immediate joining availability is required.
