Job Summary

  • The Document Control Manager oversees organization, management, and distribution of documents within a company or project.
  • Ensures accuracy, compliance, and accessibility of information for effective decision making and project execution.

Job Responsibilities 1

  • Establish and maintain document control procedures and systems.
  • Oversee creation, review, approval, distribution, and archiving of documents.
  • Monitor document lifecycle processes including version control, change management, and status tracking.
  • Coordinate with project teams, departments, and external stakeholders for document exchange.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks for document accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide training and support to staff on document control procedures and software.
  • Manage document control software systems, databases, and repositories.
  • Respond to document related inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Generate reports and metrics on document control activities.
  • Continuously assess and improve document control processes.
  • Support implementation of HSE initiatives and incident reporting.

Job Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge in ISO documentation standards.
  • Knowledge in spreadsheets, database, word processing and job specific software.
  • In depth knowledge of records management principles and procedures.
  • Expert knowledge of regulatory requirements governing document control preferred.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills.

Job Experience

  • Minimum 5 years working experience, 3 years relevant working experience, 2 years GCC is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any related field.
