Role Overview
GGT Foods Private Limited is hiring a Dispatch Manager for its food manufacturing operations in Tronica City, Ghaziabad.
The role is responsible for timely, accurate, and cost-effective dispatch of finished goods from the factory.
The position requires hands-on coordination with transporters, warehouse, sales, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan daily dispatches using ready stock, sales orders, delivery commitments, and vehicle availability.
- Coordinate transporters, tempo operators, courier partners, and loading teams.
- Negotiate transport rates and optimize routes, vehicle utilization, and loading capacity.
- Verify products, quantities, weights, batches, expiry details, customer information, invoices, packing, cartons, and transport documents before loading.
- Ensure safe loading to prevent damage, shortages, leakage, and order mixing.
- Maintain dispatch, vehicle, freight, pending-order, and delivery records.
- Follow up with transporters until proof of delivery is received.
- Coordinate with sales, production, and warehouse teams on availability, priorities, shortages, delays, and customer requirements.
- Resolve dispatch-related complaints, shortages, damages, and delivery delays.
- Maintain invoices, LR copies, e-way bills, freight bills, PODs, returns, damages, and payment records.
