Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages containing ready made meals to customers' locations
- Collect and log returned cooler bags, ensuring they are accounted for and in good condition
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and cost effective deliveries
- Operate and maintain the refrigerated delivery van in compliance with company and legal standards
- Use a Proof of Delivery (POD) application to confirm deliveries, record collections, and log any issues
- Complete required data entry accurately and promptly, maintaining up to date records of deliveries and collections
- Follow all traffic and safety regulations to ensure a safe and professional delivery experience
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and customers to address delivery issues or delays
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license for a manual light vehicle
- Proven experience in a similar delivery role
- Familiarity with proof of delivery (POD) applications and data entry processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to handle packages safely and perform physical tasks as required
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine checks
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary
- Valid UAE MANUAL driving license
