We are seeking an experienced, reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to support a participant living in Cheltenham, Victoria , at an SDA property.
This is a high-responsibility support role working with a participant living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) who is wheelchair and bed bound and requires an indwelling catheter and two staff for transfers . The participant requires consistent and attentive support with personal care, continence and catheter care, mobility, positioning, pressure care, medication assistance, mealtime management and daily living activities.
The successful candidate must be confident supporting complex physical needs and be able to consistently follow participant-specific support plans, manual-handling procedures, medication requirements, mealtime-management guidelines and escalation protocols.
This position is suited to a calm, observant and safety-focused support worker who understands the importance of safe manual handling, structured routines, accurate documentation and continuity of care.

Previous catheter-care experience.
Experience supporting wheelchair and bed-bound participants.
Experience with pressure care and positioning.
Experience performing two-person manual handling and transfers.
Experience using hoists, slings and other transfer equipment.
Experience working in Supported Independent Living or SDA environments.
Experience supporting people with complex physical support needs.
Previous experience working for an NDIS provider.
