Director, Structured Products

Purpose

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and deliver Islamic and conventional structured products for mass and private offerings across all asset classes.
• Design and implement process and risk management frameworks within defined standards.
• Develop products in line with research calls and views and prepare marketing material for each product.
• Develop and roll out ideas across asset classes and segments on a weekly basis.
• Prepare offering documentation with Legal and Compliance and secure Compliance and Risk approvals before rollout.
• Act as a product specialist for institutional and high-net-worth segments and participate in roadshows and client calls.
• Develop counterparty relationships to reduce concentration and increase product breadth.
• Support acceptable audit ratings and satisfactory regulatory reviews.
• Conduct training for new products across the firm.
• Ensure compliance with applicable AML/CTF rules and regulations and complete required group training.
• Respond promptly to AML, CTF, and sanctions inquiries.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance with a CFA or equivalent qualification.
• At least ten years of experience in a similar sell-side role at an established financial institution or bank.
• Proven track record of successful products and assets under management.
