Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and implement the Ministry's strategic and operational plans, ensuring alignment with government priorities and organizational objectives.
  • Lead the formulation and review of public policies, strategic studies, and future focused initiatives that support the Ministry's vision and long term direction.
  • Prepare, develop, and periodically review the Ministry's local partnership strategy in coordination with relevant organizational units and external stakeholders.
  • Direct and oversee the performance of the department's organizational units, ensuring effective governance, operational efficiency, and the elimination of duplication across functions.
  • Establish, monitor, and evaluate strategic and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
  • Coordinate with the Future Department at the Office of the Council of Ministers and the Office of the Prime Minister on matters related to strategy, future foresight, and national priorities.
  • Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with government entities, private sector organizations, and other external stakeholders to support the Ministry's strategic objectives.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives by evaluating institutional transformation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic plans, monitoring implementation, measuring outcomes, and reporting progress to the Minister.
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and monitoring of national initiatives, strategic projects, and global competitiveness programs in collaboration with relevant organizational units.
  • Ensure the implementation and integration of future foresight methodologies, innovation practices, and future oriented policies across the Ministry.
  • Monitor and continuously improve key administrative processes, including strategic planning, budgeting, performance reporting, and service delivery.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, and organizational excellence across the department.
