Red Sea Coastal Trading Company is described as a supply chain and logistics subsidiary under Red Sea Global.
The subsidiary supports materials, equipment, services, transportation, inventory, warehousing, and last-mile logistics for developments across the Red Sea coast and beyond.
Job Purpose
Manage the centralized purchasing department for food and beverage, equipment, consumables, and services required for operations.
Perform strategic procurement across multiple spend categories and identify better deals and more profitable suppliers.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Partner with stakeholders to document requirements clearly.
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes in buyer-supplier power.
- Identify and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming demand levels.
- Request quotations for items above the threshold defined by purchasing policy.
- Obtain at least three independent genuine quotations for applicable orders under the hotel purchasing policy.
- Establish contracts so negotiated prices are available for required operating items.
