Director of Project Controls

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Direct large-scale construction operations and establish divisional policies.
• Oversee nuclear decommissioning projects with accountability for cost, schedule, scope, and performance.
• Establish project controls, governance frameworks, reporting structures, and resource allocation processes.
• Approve budgets, expenditures, forecasts, contract strategies, and change orders.
• Lead project teams, risk management, Project Execution Plans, continuous improvement, and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight.

Required Experience and Skills

• At least 10 years of relevant construction industry experience is required.
• Experience with cost control, planning and scheduling, risk assessment and reporting, and document control systems is required.
• Experience with nuclear and nuclear decommissioning projects is required.
• Spoken and written English is required.

Education

• A bachelor’s degree in project management, administrative management, engineering, or a related field is required.

Compensation

• Starting wage is CAD $260,000-$290,000.
• A transportation allowance of CAD $833 per month is provided.

Work Location

• The primary work location is 5700 Explorer Drive, Suite 400, Ontario, Canada.
• Travel to worksite locations across Ontario may be required.
