Role Overview
The Project Controls Director will develop and oversee planning, scheduling, and budget cost controls within the division.
The internal title is Senior Project Manager, Construction, and the position is classified as Director of Project Controls.
One position is available.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct large-scale construction operations and establish divisional policies.
- Oversee nuclear decommissioning projects with accountability for cost, schedule, scope, and performance.
- Establish project controls, governance frameworks, reporting structures, and resource allocation processes.
- Approve budgets, expenditures, forecasts, contract strategies, and change orders.
- Lead project teams, risk management, Project Execution Plans, continuous improvement, and stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 10 years of relevant construction industry experience is required.
- Experience with cost control, planning and scheduling, risk assessment and reporting, and document control systems is required.
- Experience with nuclear and nuclear decommissioning projects is required.
- Spoken and written English is required.
Education
- A bachelor’s degree in project management, administrative management, engineering, or a related field is required.
Compensation
- Starting wage is CAD $260,000-$290,000.
- A transportation allowance of CAD $833 per month is provided.
Work Location
- The primary work location is 5700 Explorer Drive, Suite 400, Ontario, Canada.
- Travel to worksite locations across Ontario may be required.
