Role Overview

Design, build, test, support, and govern AI-enabled solutions across Microsoft Power Platform and the Copilot ecosystem.

Support the full solution lifecycle from business needs and development through deployment, adoption, and platform stewardship.

The position may be based in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto, or Winnipeg.

AI Automation and Agent Development

  • Design and optimize conversational and multi-agent solutions in Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Connect agents to enterprise content, Power Automate flows, APIs, and custom connectors.
  • Use AI Builder, generative AI, and Azure AI services for classification, extraction, summarization, routing, and processing.
  • Build and maintain Power Automate flows with exception handling, retry logic, monitoring, and operational support.
  • Monitor and improve agent and automation performance using metrics, feedback, and operational insights.
  • Diagnose performance, throttling, capacity, and platform limitation issues.

Application Development and Testing

  • Design, build, and support Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable application, data, security, and integration designs.
  • Develop reusable components, templates, and development patterns.
  • Own test cases, functional validation, integration testing, UAT, defect management, deployment, and stabilization.

Governance and Operations

  • Review solutions for data access, permissions, ownership, scope, and operational readiness before release.
  • Validate security controls and role-based access permissions.
  • Contribute to QA standards, release checklists, and responsible AI guidance.
  • Monitor licensing and consumption, support environments and access, and maintain DLP policies and connector controls.
  • Maintain application, flow, and agent inventory, ownership records, usage data, and risk reporting.

Business Partnership

  • Advise teams exploring AI solutions on appropriate design, governance, and delivery pathways.
  • Deliver training, demonstrations, and office hours to support solution development and adoption.
  • Maintain guidance, templates, and checklists that promote consistent practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years designing, developing, and administering enterprise Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
  • 2+ years delivering AI-powered solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio.
  • Production experience with Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Microsoft 365 Copilot, or similar Microsoft AI technologies.
  • Experience with REST APIs, standard and custom connectors, SharePoint, and SQL Server.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining risks and requirements to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative approach to partnering with business stakeholders.
