What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- Execute client & product delivery of complex solutions supporting client, product and Assurant’s vision and culture.
- Takes a product development type disciplined approach
- Assisting the client, product & Implementation teams manage all of the critical elements from concept to design, to financial modeling, journey mapping, partner selection, testing, evaluation, and roll out.
- Solutions can include but are not limited to new claims processing capabilities, forward and reverse logistics, payment platforms, self-serve platform, new feature offerings, etc.
- Coordinating/facilitating efforts of individuals from the various Assurant disciplines including IT, operations, marketing, product development, finance, etc., to execute the Solutions design.
- Transitioning client and product solutions to permanent product owners or operational groups. Ensuring Solutions achieve intended outcomes, are secure in a strong control environment and fundamentally function to deliver consistently, efficiently, and effectively. Support process re-engineering, operational tool utilization & data analytics.
- Leads matrix resources across product, business development and marketing organizations.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Project/Program Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressively more responsible experience in business leadership roles as well as expertise with clients and/or prospects.
- Experience as a Technical Solution Engineer, Service Execution, Service Solutions, and/or IT Business Relationship Manager a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Knowledge and experience in extended service contracts, and/or the service industry.
- Extensive understanding of industry and emerging trends desired.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
