Role Overview
Associate Auto Claim Adjuster responsible for determining covered failures and adjudicating vehicle protection claims.
The role involves direct interaction with customers, repair facilities, vendors, and occasionally clients.
Claims Adjudication
- Review vehicle service agreements, interpret policy coverage, research facts, and determine inspection needs.
- Adjust and document claims according to policy provisions, applicable laws, departmental standards, and insurance regulations.
- Review contracts and web-based applications to confirm coverage and refer complex issues to senior adjusters or supervisors.
Customer and Vendor Support
- Resolve customer and client issues through inbound and outbound calls, email, fax, and chat.
- Work with repair facilities, inspection providers, parts vendors, and other resources to adjudicate claims.
- Document denial or authorization reasons, quote policy language, and obtain approval when decisions exceed authority.
Compliance and Development
- Maintain knowledge of VPS products, clients, systems, and applications.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, SOX, PCI, audit, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
