About the Role
Haskoning seeks a Director to lead and grow the Advisory Group for Water & Maritime in the Middle East. You will manage a team of 30+ professionals, drive commercial success, and shape the cross-business line advisory strategy.

Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and empower a dynamic international team of 30+ professionals based in UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia
- Spearhead growth, drive innovation, and shape the future of Haskoning business in the Middle East
- Lead the development and growth of a cross business line Advisory Group, growing from 10 to approximately 50 staff over four years
- Execute the group’s growth strategy, develop a strong and diverse team, and create effective collaboration across global business
- Identify new client opportunities, shape multidisciplinary advisory services, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders
- Assume responsibilities of Resident Director for the UAE, providing country level leadership and ensuring local operations align with company strategy
- Drive commercial and financial success of the Advisory Group with P&L responsibility
- Build strong communication channels within and outside Haskoning to encourage seamless cooperation
- Cultivate an environment and culture where both individuals and the business can thrive
- Ensure project delivery meeting client expectations, scope, quality, and financial performance
Requirements
- Higher Education in engineering, management or environmental disciplines
- Extensive Experience in Engineering Consultancy in the Maritime or related industry
- Minimum of 5 years Line management (including P&L) responsibility
- Proven experience to lead teams of at least 30 people
- A network of clients in the Middle East region
- General management and entity management experience
- Fluent in English
- International outlook with experience in diverse multicultural environments

What You Bring
- Higher Education in engineering, management or environmental disciplines
