Your Opportunity Stantec is seeking an Infrastructure Digital Practice Intern to support the Infrastructure Digital Practice team during the summer term. This is a fully remote internship/co-op opportunity, and the successful candidate may be located anywhere in the United States. This role provides hands-on exposure to digital delivery, design technology, and infrastructure project support, with a focus on Bentley and Autodesk platforms used across transportation and civil infrastructure projects. The intern will work under the guidance of senior Digital Practice staff to assist with modeling, workspace support, data preparation, and targeted digital tasks that support active projects and enterprise initiatives. This position is intended to build practical technical skills while developing an understanding of how digital environments support infrastructure design and delivery at scale. Your Key Responsibilities - Assist with Bentley OpenRoads Designer modeling and production tasks, including creation and refinement of 3D civil elements. - Support ProjectWise-managed workspaces through file organization, quality checks, and data preparation activities. - Assist with basic Autodesk and Bentley software support tasks under supervision. - Support infrastructure project teams with digital production needs, including plan preparation, model updates, and data coordination. - Participate in training, onboarding, and documentation efforts related to digital practice workflows and standards. - Help test and validate digital tools, configurations, and workflows as directed. - Maintain clear documentation of work performed and follow established digital standards and best practices. - Collaborate with Digital Practice team members and project staff across regions in a fully remote work environment. Your Capabilities and Credentials Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Geospatial Sciences, or a related field. - Familiarity with civil infrastructure concepts and interest in digital delivery and design technology. - Exposure to Bentley or Autodesk design software (academic or internship experience). - Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and workflows. - Ability to follow direction, manage assigned tasks, and communicate progress clearly. - $23.47 - $34.50 Hourly Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
