A sizeable construction firm seeks a Digital and Innovation Lead to drive digital strategy in engineering, construction, and project management. You will lead the Digital Strategy and Innovation unit, implement digital tools like BIM and GIS, and manage stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities
- Lead the Digital Strategy and Innovation unit to formulate and implement the digital & innovation strategy in digital engineering/design, digital construction, and digital project management
- Define and formulate project plans, prioritise implementation programme, identify risks and barriers, establish mitigation strategies, manage stakeholders, and prepare budgets
- Develop and implement standardisation and governance protocols for digital and innovation initiatives
- Analyse users and business requirements to develop business cases and collaborate with stakeholders to oversee implementation and ongoing upgrades of systems and applications
- Engage internal stakeholders/end users actively and review business pain points, work processes, and procedures to identify areas for improvement
- Co ordinate with internal IT team to develop and launch new digital developments and initiatives, ensuring compliance with Corporate IT standards and governance
Requirements
- 15+ years' relevant experience, of which 7+ years at managerial level
- Knowledge of construction technologies including BIM, GIS, Smart Site Safety System, Digital Works Supervision System, digital project management platforms
- Good understanding of AI, data analytics and data governance in large scale construction projects
- Relevant experience in infrastructure project management/delivery covering design and construction stages
- Excellent knowledge of project management frameworks and SDLC methodology
- Proficient in using various digital platforms and software for infrastructure project management, engineering design, and construction management
- Degree in Information Technology / Engineering or a related discipline
- Civil engineering qualifications and/or hands on experience strongly preferred
- Fluent English, oral and written

Role
