Job Overview

  • Eram Talent is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of diesel powered vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery.
  • Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and operational efficiency of diesel engines and associated mechanical systems.
  • The successful candidate will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance while adhering to company procedures, safety regulations, and client requirements.
  • Candidates with prior Saudi Aramco project experience are required.
  • The ideal candidate is locally available in Saudi Arabia and willing to work within the offered salary range.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, heavy equipment, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel powered vehicles and machinery.
  • Inspect, repair, and replace engine components, fuel systems, cooling systems, and transmission components.
  • Carry out engine overhauls and mechanical repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, service manuals, and mechanical drawings.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify faults and ensure equipment reliability.
  • Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation and performance.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco safety standards, company procedures, and HSE regulations.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
  • Support emergency breakdown maintenance when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or ITI/Technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Diesel Mechanics, Automotive Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic in industrial, construction, or heavy equipment environments.
  • Saudi Aramco project experience is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, fuel systems, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair heavy equipment and diesel powered machinery.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Familiarity with HSE procedures and safe maintenance practices.
  • Locally available in Saudi Arabia.
  • Nationality: Open to all nationalities.
