Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing on diesel trucks and pickups
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Repair or replace faulty parts including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, steering, fuel systems, and cooling systems
- Conduct inspections, road tests, and performance checks after repairs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Assist in developing maintenance schedules and inventory control for parts and consumables
- Respond to breakdowns and perform on site repairs when required
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with company and environmental policies
Requirements
- Experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Knowledge of safety standards and manufacturer specifications
