Diesel Man - Ready Mix

Job Summary

1. Fuel Receiving

• Receive diesel deliveries from suppliers.
• Verify quantity using dip measurement or flow meter.
• Check delivery documents against purchase orders.
• Report shortages or discrepancies immediately.

2. Fuel Dispensing

• Refuel transit mixers, pump trucks, loaders, generators, and other machinery.
• Ensure correct quantity is issued to each vehicle/equipment.
• Record all fuel issued including vehicle number, driver name, time, and quantity.

3. Monitoring & Stock Control

• Maintain daily fuel stock records.
• Monitor tank levels and arrange replenishment when required.
• Conduct regular tank dipping to verify stock accuracy.
• Identify and report unusual consumption or possible fuel loss.

4. Equipment & Facility Maintenance

• Ensure fuel tanks, pumps, and hoses are in good working condition.
• Report leaks, damages, or equipment malfunctions.
• Keep fueling area clean, safe, and organized.

5. Documentation

• Maintain fuel logbooks and update ERP system.
• Prepare daily and weekly fuel consumption reports.
• Keep accurate records of fuel receipts and usage.

6. Safety & Compliance

• Follow fire safety and fuel handling procedures.
• Ensure proper use of PPE (gloves, safety shoes, goggles, etc.).
• Prevent fuel spills and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Comply with environmental, safety, and company regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school certificate or equivalent.
• Experience in construction, transport, or ready mix industry preferred.
• Basic knowledge of diesel handling and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with fuel measuring methods such as dipstick and meter reading.
• Basic math and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments.

Working Conditions

• Outdoor work in plant yard or fueling station.
• Exposure to heat, dust, and fuel fumes.
• Shift duty may be required.
