DevOps Engineer

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

3–5 years of experience working in an Agile software development environment

3–5 years of experience building, operating, and supporting AWS infrastructure

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, Lambda, IAM, Route 53, S3, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation or Terraform)

Experience enabling and supporting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, or CircleCI

Practical experience with Git, Docker, and deploying applications to AWS environments

Solid understanding of networking concepts and Linux and/or Windows Server administration

Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or bash

Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., PowerShell DSC, Chef, Ansible)

Experience enabling and using metrics, logging, and monitoring within cloud infrastructure

Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and cloud security controls

Experience with Gerrit Code Review

Exposure to high-traffic or customer-facing production systems

The expected salary range for this position is CAD $115,000 – $125,000, based on the candidate’s work location. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable market conditions. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and will be confirmed during the hiring process. Additional compensation and benefits, including incentive programs, health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits (where applicable), may also be provided.
