What You'll Need to Succeed
Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form with peers & decision makers
Excel in juggling deliverables across multiple efforts in parallel within an Agile framework
Demonstrate expertise in software delivery to DoD public cloud regions (C2S / GovCloud) and Kubernetes platforms
The ability to replace operational tasks with automated workflows, GitOps pipelines, and self‑service tooling
Enable PaaS tenants to onboard smoothly, adopt best practices, and experience reduced friction in deploying and operating workloads
Design systems and platform components to maximize auditability, traceability, and real‑time observability
Proven ability to automate complex, multi‑step workflows and operational processes to reduce toil and increase reliability
Tenacity when tackling system security and compliance requirements
Must-haves in a Candidate
- U.S. Citizenship
- B.S. in Information Technology or related field
- 3+ years of experience in managing/administrating Kubernetes clusters, control plane components, autoscaling, and container-based workload troubleshooting
- 1+ years of experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP cloud platforms including IAM, load balancers, and managed Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE)
- 1+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.)
- 1+ years of experience with scripting languages like Python and Bash
- Familiarity with security compliance tools (e.g., Grype, Fortify, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile development framework
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab CI and ArgoCD
