Role Overview
The DevOps Engineer III operates Azure cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes workloads, Java applications, middleware, and related monitoring platforms.
The role supports development and production environments, including on-call operations and health monitoring.
The position requires collaboration with customers, vendors, partners, and internal staff, along with mentoring junior employees.
Cloud and Deployment Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and tune Azure services including microservices, AKS, Function Apps, IoT Hub, API Management, Key Vault, F5 Load Balancers, and ExpressRoute.
- Manage CI/CD build and deployment processes using Bitbucket and JFrog Artifactory.
- Manage Java-based containerized applications using Kubernetes, with AKS preferred.
- Build, optimize, and maintain Docker images and container workflows.
Application Operations and Monitoring
- Perform Java performance tuning, heap dump analysis, memory leak identification, thread dump analysis, and JVM optimization.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, microservices, middleware platforms, and business-critical applications.
