• Support onboarding new team hires to project architecture and standards.
• Provide mentoring and support for more junior software engineers.
• Facilitate open and transparent communication within the team and across departments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in software engineering, with proven project delivery.
• Deep understanding of software engineering practices, design patterns and system architecture. • Strong proficiency with testing, debugging and performance optimization.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
• Experience working within agile development environments is desirable.
• Ability to align technical solutions with broader product goals.
• Comfortable contributing to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
• regularly collaborate with colleagues, teams, and partners located outside Quebec whose working language is English;
• participate in technical meetings, code reviews, and design discussions conducted in English;
• review, analyze, and use technical documentation, development tools, software frameworks, and specialized resources that are primarily available in English;
• prepare or review technical documentation, code comments, and communications intended for English-speaking teams;
• contribute to global software projects that require frequent communication in English.
