The Development Events Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support for One More Child’s fundraising and donor engagement events. Working closely with the Director of Development Events, this position assists with event planning, execution, and follow-up while helping create organized, welcoming, and mission-focused experiences for donors and guests. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, initiative, dependability, and a heart for ministry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing fundraising events, donor gatherings, and ministry experiences.
Coordinate assigned event logistics, including venues, catering, décor, AV, vendors, volunteers, invite list, RSVPs, and event materials.
Prepare guest materials, registration supplies, signage, communications, and stewardship materials.
Provide on-site event support, including setup, registration, guest assistance, execution, and teardown.
Maintain event timelines, checklists, planning documents, attendee records, and related files.
Assist with event expenses, purchase requests, invoices, receipts, and other administrative documentation.
Support donor, sponsor, volunteer, and guest engagement by providing professional, hospitable, and mission-focused service.
Communicate with internal teams, vendors, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners regarding assigned event needs.
Assist with event follow-up, including organizing materials, collecting feedback, and completing post-event documentation.
Drive for event-related needs, including travel to and from events, picking up and delivering food and supplies, and completing other event-related errands as assigned.
Identify opportunities to improve event processes, efficiency, hospitality, and the overall donor and guest experience.
